  • Description

We are exctited to share our 'Explore Europe' ride of the year! Our ride leaders and other members have carefully planned this route, and have settled on a ride that is challenging but doable as a group!

The ride will take us south west from Blackheath through Dickens country and along the Kent coast to Whitstable. From there we will pick up the Crab and Winkle way to historic Canterbury. An overnight stop in Canterbury will then see us cycle through beautiful rural Kent to Dover where we will take the ferry to Calais.

After an overnight stop in Northern France, we will follow the coast road north east to the charming mediaeval town of Bruges.

The schedule has us returning home on the Sunday, although folks may extend their stay (work and home-life permitting).

  • Costs & Fundraising

The entrance fee is £395.00. A £50 deposit (non-refundable) is required to confirm your place.

This is a fundraising event, so you also need to commit to an additional fundraising target of at least £300.00. If needed, we can offer advice and ideas on how to reach this sort of target. Also note that if you are also participating in Cycle Nicaragua to Costa Rica, then any funds you raise for London-to-Bruges can count towards the fundraising target for that event.

We will nominate a selected charity soon, but if you wish you may use this event to raise funds for an alternative charity of your choice.

Please note that Cycle4Good is a non-profit organization — all of our staff are volunteers and no-one is paid anything out of your entrance fee. After all costs have been met, any surplus funds from all riders' entrance fees will be donated to our supported charities.

     IMPORTANT:
Please don't pay money to anyone or start fundraising before talking to us!
