  • Description

A great spring ride to kick-start your 2016 summer! Our ride leaders and other members have ridden this route multiple times, and have settled on a route that is challenging but doable as a group! Starting from Hampton Court, we head West out of London. We break the ride for snacks and water re-fills before stopping for lunch by the river at Marlow.

The route then climbs into the Chiltern Hills and crosses Christmas Common. There’ll be a further fuel stop following a series of challenging climbs and then it’s all downhill to the end. We finish by the ancient university on the banks of the Thames (which is actually known as 'Isis' when it's inside Oxford city limits). And if you're still standing at the end, dinner and drinks in the city of the dreaming spires is on the cards!

  • Costs & fundraising

The entrance fee is £25. This fee covers the basic costs of running the event (such as food, water, and backup vehicle hire). The fee is non-refundable.

Given that this event is short in nature and may be used as a training ride for our longer routes, you do not need to commit to additional fundraising targets for this ride.

Please note that Cycle4Good is a non-profit organization — all of our staff are volunteers and no-one is paid anything out of your entrance fee. After all costs have been met, any surplus funds from all riders' entrance fees will be donated to our supported charities.
